time between indictment and incarceration. This is important for both the

Process of the Federal Criminal System - i.e., the
denial of bond and remanded custody.

Custody – This covers your arrival and intake
process. This is known to be one of the most stressful parts of your
entire period of incarceration.
- Inmate
Etiquette – This will cover the unwritten rules,
regulations, do’s/don’ts, and a glossary of slang that you will hear and
need to understand.
- Admissions
and Orientation – This covers the orientation process,
job assignments, initial inmate classification and sentence computation.
- Life
Inside the Big House – Learn about prison life,
recreation, education, religious and social activities. Learn how to
maintain normality and sanity while away from your home, job
and loved ones.

living situations once you finish your sentence.
